Zhu selected as 2016 recipient of Purdue's Herbert Newby McCoy Award

Jian-Kang Zhu, Distinguished Professor of Plant Biology and professor of biochemistry, is the recipient of the 2016 Herbert Newby McCoy Award. The award is presented annually to a Purdue student or faculty member for outstanding contributions to the natural sciences.

Varma honored with Purdue's 2016 Arden L. Bement Jr. Award

Arvind Varma, the R. Games Slayter Distinguished Professor of Chemical Engineering and Jay and Cynthia Ihlenfeld Head of the School of Chemical Engineering, will receive the 2016 Arden L. Bement Jr. Award. The award recognizes Purdue faculty for outstanding and widely recognized contributions in the areas of pure or applied science or engineering.

'Boiler Life' digital platform launched

Today (July 11), Purdue Marketing and Media launched "Boiler Life," a multimedia project to showcase how Boilermakers are making a difference in the world. "Boiler Life" will share photos and stories of students, student groups, research teams, faculty, staff and alumni.
