Faculty and Staff NewsPurdue health officials investigating possible mumps casesPurdue is investigating five confirmed or probable cases of mumps on the West Lafayette campus. The University is working with the Tippecanoe County Health Department and the Indiana State Department of Health to identify and directly notify anyone who may have been in close contact with these cases, and advises faculty, staff, students and members of the community to educate themselves on the symptoms, transmission and prevention of mumps. 2015 Purdue Day of Giving: A record successThe second Purdue Day of Giving was held in April 2015. In just 24 hours, students, alumni, faculty, staff, parents and friends raised $13.69 million and granted countless opportunities around the world. "This was an amazing effort and a true representation of the impact we can have as a unified community," says Amy Noah, vice president for development. "Thanks to everyone who helped to make last year such an outstanding success." The third annual Purdue Day of Giving is on April 27.
