Purdue spring break busy for Daniels: To testify before Congress, keynote higher ed conference

President Mitch Daniels will appear on Tuesday (March 17) before the U.S. House Subcommittee on Higher Education and Workforce Training, testifying about the public's decreasing confidence in higher education and how Purdue is leading by example to restore it. Also next week in Washington, D.C., Daniels will speak to the American Council on Education (ACE) annual meeting and at national think tank the Brookings Institution.

Purdue mourns former first lady Jane Beering

Jane Pickering Beering, first lady of Purdue for 17 years, died March 9, 2015, in Carmel, Indiana. She was 81.
