The Office of the Vice President for Research is celebrating women researchers at Purdue with its "31 Days of Purdue Women" series on its Research at Purdue social media pages. To coincide with Women's History Month, the Research at Purdue pages on Facebook, Twitter and Google+ are featuring daily posts about current and past Purdue women researchers.
One post features veterinarian and researcher Deborah Knapp (pictured), who treats dogs with naturally occurring cancer to learn how to improve cancer treatment in both canines and humans.

As part of Indiana's Severe Weather Preparedness Week, Purdue's Office of Emergency Preparedness and Planning will coordinate a campus-wide tornado drill on Thursday (March 20).
This is part of a series of articles discussing safety and security for the Purdue West Lafayette campus.
Faculty members are invited to complete a survey as part of a research study to evaluate and enhance IT experiences for students and instructors in higher education and at Purdue. Individuals who participate have a chance to win a $50 or $100 Amazon gift card, an incentive provided by the Educause Center for Applied Research.
Faculty, staff and students are being invited to participate in focus groups on the Gallup-Purdue alumni survey.
Purdue Today schedule for spring break
Purdue Today will reduce its publishing schedule during spring break. It will be published today (March 17) and Thursday (March 20). Purdue Today will resume daily publication on March 24.
"Thumbs Up" gives faculty and staff the chance to recognize others on campus for a job well done.

Purdue is moving toward a more diverse faculty, which will enhance both student success and research excellence, according to one of the highlights of a report presented by S. Laurel Weldon, interim vice provost for faculty affairs, at Friday's (March 14) Academic Affairs Committee meeting.
Purdue will host a group of its NASA astronaut alumni for a reunion that will culminate with a public forum April 12.

Three more Purdue divers qualified Saturday for the NCAA Championships, meaning that seven of the nine Boilermakers competing this weekend at the Zone C Championships earned bids to the national championship meets.
