A new website called DiscoverU is promoting Purdue's undergraduate research opportunities just in time for the Undergraduate Research Poster Symposium, which is scheduled for March 26.
A forum on March 27 will continue the Foundations of Excellence (FoE) initiative's conversation about collaborating for student success at Purdue.
Faculty and staff are encouraged to nominate students they consider Home Makers -- whether in terms of construction, green technology, landscape or interior design, or human relationships -- for the June "5 Students Who ..." website. Deadline for nominations is Friday (March 22).
Purdue's Global Policy Research Institute has modified its criteria for incentive award proposals for research projects, international workshops and international conferences relevant to GPRI’s mission and theme areas. Purdue's Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering has been selected by U.S. News & World Report for the fifth consecutive year as offering the best such graduate specialty program in the nation.

Purdue sports
The Purdue men's basketball team has accepted a bid to the 2013 College Basketball Invitational (CBI). Purdue will host Western Illinois at 7 p.m. Wednesday (March 20).
Purdue baseball opens its home schedule Tuesday with the premiere week at Alexander Field, and Intercollegiate Athletics has a number of game day promotions and season-long ticket specials in place for the inaugural season at the new stadium.
