Registration open for recognition luncheon
Information for the Executive Vice President for Business and Finance, Treasurer's Staff Recognition Luncheon on Oct. 26 -- including how faculty and staff can reserve a space to honor those being recognized -- is available. The site at www.conf.purdue.edu/evptlunch has online registration by credit card and a printable form. Deadline for registration is Friday (Oct. 14). Siren 'growl test' today; no action necessary if siren sounds
A "growl test" of the all-hazards outdoor warning siren at Purdue Village will occur at 10 a.m. today (Oct. 10). The test, 1-2 seconds long, may be noticeable on campus. However, full siren activation is possible. If the siren activates, it can be disregarded, and no action is necessary. Purdue is replacing its all-hazards sirens over the next few weeks, and a growl test of each replacement siren is required.
