Purdue duo leads West Lafayette High School girls' soccer team

James Hunter and Jamal Ratchford have spent the majority of their lives in two places: inside a school and on the soccer field.

Hunter is a postdoctoral research assistant whose research is geared toward developing tools and promoting technology that will help communities deal will the harmful impacts of land use change. Ratchford is a PhD candidate in African American history.

Until three years ago, they had never met. But now Hunter and Ratchford share a commitment to leading the West Lafayette High School girls' soccer team as head coach and assistant coach, respectively. More

A new development project in the life sciences arena was announced Wednesday (Sept. 30) as part of a new agricultural collaboration among Dow AgroSciences, Purdue Research Foundation, Purdue University and the state of Indiana.
