Gift sounds good to speech, language and hearing sciences

Marybeth Lyles Higuera listens to Christine Weber-Fox

Purdue officials will announce today (Sept. 29) a $10 million gift from a former speech pathologist to the Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences.

The gift, from alumna Marybeth Lyles Higuera of Palm Desert, Calif., will be used to fund the Lyles-Porter Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences facility, which bears the name of the donor's families. More
