Nontraditional Student Week

Purdue will be celebrating National Nontraditional Student Week November 1-5, 2022! This is a week of celebrating and recognizing our Span Plan nontraditional undergraduate students enrolled through the West Lafayette campus. This year, our focus for the week is thankfulness. We are thankful for each of you, our nontraditional undergraduate students, that push through to reach graduation and also thankful for those that help you on this journey. While our activities this year are centered around celebrating YOU, we do hope you will take some time at the events to write a thank you note(s) for faculty, staff, friends and family that have helped you reach this point.
Join the Fun
- November 1st: Monday Morning Wake Up!
- November 2nd: Tie Dye Tuesday
- November 3rd: Wellness Wednesday - Mindfulness & Smoothies and Spa Day
- November 4th: Thank You Thursday
- November 5th: Foodie Friday
Give Thanks
Each of our in-person events will also include an opportunity for you to thank those in your village that have made an impact in your education journey. We'll provide the note cards and pens, we just ask that you provide addresses for those not on campus. Our thank you notes will be sent out from Span Plan throughout the week to the individuals you designate.
Your Story
As we celebrate, we also use this time to share your experiences as nontraditional students. Educating our campus community through indivdiual interviews and information sharing are ways we work to build the voice for all nontraditional students. While behind the scenes, we continue to work to foster an environment of inclusivity.
Enjoy a few pictures from past celebrations and Span Plan events as we get ready to make some new memories during Nontraditional Student Week!
