Description

The Purdue Quantum and Science Engineering Institute will be hosting a Spintronics Workshop with Tohoku University on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 from 8:30 - 5:00 p.m. at the Burton D. Morgan Center for Entrepreneurship, Room 121.

The workshop will provide a platform for discussion of recent progress and emerging trends in Spintronics and related research and applications.  This 2nd meeting between Purdue and Tohoku University on Spintrics and related research follows the success of the inaugural meeting held in Sendai, Japan on February 2, 2018.  The main goals of the workshop are: exchange of scientific and enginerring information and the development of collaborative efforts between our instititutions.

The Spintronics workshop will kickoff with a Discovery Park Distinguished Lecture presentation from Professor Hideo Ohno, President of Tohoku University and a renowned world leader in Spintronics.
