Description
Advanced Methodologies at Purdue: Behavioral, Health, and Social Sciences Symposium (AMAP), October 29-30, 2018.
The AMAP symposium will bring together a diverse group of methodologists to critique the practice of research in the behavioral, health, and social sciences – the standards for making solid inferences about causes and effects, the relationship between theory and methodology, and the virtues of both quantitative and qualitative investigations. On the evening of Monday, October 29, a capstone roundtable discussion will consider the topic of “fakery” in political campaigning and elections -- and how we might counteract it.
