Description: A beginning course in German. Introduction to the structure of the language. A certain number of basic grammatical rules and idiomatic constructions are covered, with illustrations of their application through simple, graduated textbook readings. Each lesson concentrates on specific rules and constructions with the objective of understanding through reading and the use of the language through oral exercises. Main objective: supply the students with tools to enable them to communicate in German at a basic level.
