Description: Credit may only be established in one of CPT 382 or CPT 392. This course deals with advanced design techniques and physical issues relating to enterprise-wide databases. Topics include advanced normalization, data distribution, distributed database design and replication, storage estimation and allocation, usage analysis, partitioning of very large tables, metadata analysis, data conversion, and load techniques.
