Description: Course focuses on how to use statistical analysis to answer common questions in the practice of sociology, as well as on what statistical techniques are useful to answer sociological practice questions, how to apply them and interpret their results. Specific methods to be covered include documentary, ethnographic, survey, experimental design, secondary data analysis, social indicators, focused literature reviews, and library research techniques.
