Description: An intensive course for secondary school biology and other science teachers covering the fundamental aspects of entomology, including taxonomy, morphology, physiology, and ecology. Laboratory devoted to identification, collection methods and equipment, insect cultures, displays, and projects, including several field trips. Especially designed for the teacher who wishes to develop an entomological teaching unit. Offered in alternate summers. Requires class trips. Students will pay individual lodging or meal expenses when necessary.
