Description: Reviews foundational and current research on changes that occur within the individual throughout infancy, early and middle childhood, and early adolescence in the areas of perceptual, motor, cognitive, language, social, and emotional development. Emphasis is given to the different mechanisms and processes proposed to explain such developmental changes. Prerequisite: Child Development & Family Studies majors only.
