Description: Basic sources and data and analytical methods appropriate for urban and demographic research, including uses of a life table and ways of analyzing data on fertility, mortality, and the labor force, as well as measuring such ecological processes as segregation, assimilation, centralization, decentralization, invasion-succession, dominance, differentiation, etc. Population models, forecasts and projections, and social area analysis will be treated.
