| Description: | A survey course concerned with the production and distribution of goods and services. Part of the integrative core, along with BUS F301 and BUS M301. Examines how a firm produces and delivers its goods and services, with consistent and acceptable levels of quality, in a cost-effective manner. The discussion covers a wide range of interrelated issues including quality and process improvement, forecasting, planning, resource management, customer service, scheduling, and layout and process design. A semester-long, team project is the primary activity used to integrate the three core courses. |
