Description: This course discusses the role of databases in the System Development Life Cycle, with an emphasis on rational base analysis and design techniques-logical data modeling. Additional topics include the functions and components of state-of-the-art commercial DBMS software, distributed database, database models, and the role and function of the Database Administrator. Students will be assigned analysis and design projects.
