Short Title: | Hydr Anly Gr Water Sys |
Description: | This course investigates the general theory and application of hydraulic testing and analysis of aquifer and aquitard properties for such parameters as porosity, permeability, hydraulic conductivity, transmissivity, storativity, specific yield, dispersivity, and others. Theory of porous media flow is taught with applications to hydraulic testing. Confined, unconfined, semi-confined, transient, and steady-state flows are analyzed. Pump tests, slug tests, tracer tests, and regional analyses of flow nets are stressed. Classroom teaching is complemented with numerous problem sets. |
