Description: These sections of Introduction to Ethics are designed to stimulate reflection about a number of issues in ethics and political philosophy. Readings will include both great classics and contemporary philosophical writings, and we will also read some excerpts of legal cases. Topics will include abortion, free speech, oppression, tolerance, capital punishment, and the relationship between morality and the law.
