Description: Introduction to programming using the Java and C++ languages. Programming languages, compilers, program structure, input, output, conditionals, loops, functions, recursion, arrays, pointers, structures, classes, objects, and abstract data types. Intended primarily for students majoring in computer sciences. Credit cannot be obtained for both CS 180 and 156 or 158. Not open to students with credit in CS 181 or 240.
