Short Title: Forest Ecology
Description: Discussions on concepts and methodologies of selected topics from the published literature on forest ecosystems. Each topic begins with a discussion of methods used to research the topic. Each student is required to critically review and lead a discussion on at least one article. Emphasis is placed on literature focusing on eastern hardwood forests. Class trips required. Offered in alternate years. Prerequisite: BIOL 28600 or FNR 33100.
