Description: Advanced training in avian disease diagnosis and health management in commercial poultry flocks. Visits to production facilities for layers, broilers, turkeys, and ducks. Vaccination and medication programs for these species are discussed. Necropsy experience is gained from poultry, game bird, and pet bird accessions at the diagnostic laboratory.
