Short Title: Human Error
Description: Explores the definition and nature of human error, error chains, and causal factors in error generation. Error taxonomies are reviewed in order to provide a classification scheme for grouping errors and assessing error criticality. Methods for assessing risk and predicting error generation potentials are learned, as well as strategies for controlling or eliminating errors. Case studies are utilized throughout the course to illustrate course concepts.
