Description: A course designed to develop understanding of, and insight into, the basic aspects of accident prevention and safety. Specific attention will be given to (1) the psychological aspects of accident prevention; (2) the principles of accident prevention; (3) the practical aspects of planning, implementing, and maintaining a safe environment; and (4) standards, current laws, and regulations. Field trips may be required.
