| Description: | Presents a working knowledge of the Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response regulatory requirements. The course provides students with the information they need to protect themselves and others at the job site and gives students experience in making decisions, performing tasks, and using the equipment they will encounter in the environmental workplace. The course meets OSHA standards for the 40-hour HAZWOPER certification, 29CFR1910.120. Students successfully completing the course with a grade of C or better will receive the 40-hour HAZWOPER certification. |
