Description: A course featuring practical field experience in analysis and interpretation of soil characteristics and landscape position. Use and management of soils based on landscape and morphology will be presented. Collegiate soil judging is a portion of the subject matter discussed. The course may be taken twice for credit, because the specific topics will vary from year to year depending on the soil geographic region selected for emphasis.
