Description: Roles of the professional nurse in various community health settings are implemented. The developmental approach in studying health needs of the community is continued as the nursing process is applied to evaluate the young, middle-aged and geriatric adult populations. Families within the community are assessed to determine environmental influences that may affect health, needs, responses to illness and the rehabilitative process.
