Description: An investigation of the principles of cost control and financial concepts required at the project and company level. The course addresses the development of control estimates and budgets as well as various methods of cost control. Sources of construction costs as well as work breakdown structure and work packaging will be presented and discussed. In addition, the interface between field costs and company financial documents will be developed in detail. A project designed to illustrate both company- and project-level management will be required.
