Short Title: Intro Human Evolution
Description: An outline of human evolution interrelating man's changing physical characteristics with his evolving social and cultural adaptations. Man's relationships to the other primates, both physically and behaviorally are explored within an evolutionary framework. The archaeological record is used to document the history of man during the last five million years. Transformations of human life initiated by the domestication of plants and animals are outlined using archaeological data from the Near East and Mexico.
