Description: (BTNY 200) This course is designed to provide an introduction to pest management philosophy and discipline, and to provide an overview of the production and nonproduction systems and the pests commonly encountered therein. Class presentations will demonstrate why the particular systems interact favorably or unfavorably in the management of pests and will lay a foundation for studying pest management by a systems approach.
