Description: Vertebrate diversity and the manner in which species are designed for their particular lifestyles; the relatedness and origins of the major vertebrate taxa; the basic vertebrate body plan; adaptations for feeding and locomotion; natural history of selected vertebrates, current conservation issues regarding vertebrates. Field experiences will include two weekend day trips.
