Short Title: The 1st Three Minutes
Description: This course is a descriptive survey of the major concepts of contemporary physics and their relationship to theories of the origin of the universe. The course is designed for non-science majors and presents cosmological theories using the basic ideas of quantum physics in a conceptual and descriptive manner without mathematics. Topics include stars and galaxies, the four forces, relativity, quantum physics, elementary particles, and the Big Bang.
