Short Title: Basic Cardiac Dysrhyt
Description: This course is designed to educate the student in the theory and interpretation of cardiac monitor rhythms. Basic monitoring procedures and guidelines are taught. Emphasis is on the factors, which determine whether a cardiac rhythm is normal or abnormal (dysrythmia). Critical-thinking skills are utilized in identifying and prioritizing appropriate interventions related to the occurrence of dysrhythmias. This course is open to non-nursing students.
