Description: An advanced course in abnormal psychology allowing for more thorough coverage of selected disorders which were introduced in PSY 350. Topics covered will typically include the affective disorders, schizophrenia, anxiety and stress-related disorders, and personality disorders; but may vary somewhat with each offering of the course. Outside material related to description and diagnostic indicators of the disorders, latest research on etiology, and current treatment methods will be included.
