In support of the ever increasing use of environmental engineers as independent technical consultants to assess the potential legal implications of a particular environmental policy, program, or activity, as well as the growing use of environmental engineers to serve as direct technical support for attorneys and corporate managers in commenting upon the proposed environmental regulatory agenda put forth both by Congress and the United States Environmental Protection Agency.
