Description: Study of fundamental concepts in computer numerical control (CNC) technology. Cutter centerline programming, cutter diameter compensation, tool nose radius (TNR) compensation, coordinate transformation, canned cycles, subprograms, user macros. The lab includes programming and operation of CNC turning and milling machines, CAD/CAM programming, and integration of design and manufacturing through computer network.
