Short Title: Diseases Of Veg Crops
Description: The purpose of this five-week miniclass is to teach students the principles and practices for identifying and controlling diseases of vegetable crops. The course is designed for students who desire an intensive study of diseases of vegetables. Primary emphasis will be given to symptomatology, etiology, and disease management through in-depth study of major diseases affecting commercial vegetable crops in the midwestern United States. Special emphasis will be placed on the application of modern approaches to disease control. Course meets during weeks 6-10.
