Short Title: Intd Soil Morphology
Description: This course features an introductory field experience in evaluating soil morphology. Students will develop skills determining horizon nomenclature, texture, soil color, structure, consistence and drainage. Basic concepts regarding the impact of soil morphology on use of soils for various purposes will be presented. Collegiate soil judging is a portion of the subjet matter discussed.
