Description: Emphasis in this course will be on the object-oriented paradigm using C++. Topics include definition of class, data abstraction, member functions, friend functions, this pointer, static class member, operator overloading, inheritance, virtual function and polymorphism, template, exception handling, elementary data structures, reusability, and introduction to Standard Template Library. Extensive programming exercises in C++ are required.
