Short Title: Freshwater Ecology
Description: Comprehensive overview of the form, function, and biological organisms of freshwater ecosystems. Students will learn the fundamental biological and ecological components of continental streams, rivers, and lakes with some additional consideration given to global freshwaters. Concepts will be taught based upon two lectures and one laboratory each week during the fall semester. Labs are partially field-based and require outside activities.
