Collaboration with representatives of industry, government agencies, or community institutions is encouraged. Evidence of extensive and thorough laboratory performance is required. Phase I includes, but is not limited to: (1) faculty acceptance of project proposal, (2) defining and limiting project objectives, (3) initial research and source contacts, (4) project proposal management, (5) procurement of materials, and (6) periodic progress reports. |
