Description: Methods of analysis of common stocks and bonds for individual and institutional portfolios. Review of the empirical evidence of security market efficiency, and implications of that evidence for various methods of security analysis. Team projects to analyze the economy, the particular industry or sector, and selected firms within the industry or sector, and to make specific buy-hold-sell recommendations for the stocks and bonds of those firms. Prerequisite: MGMT 61000, 61100.
