Short Title: Stat Meth Comptr Users
Description: A first course in descriptive statistics, probability, parametric and non-parametric inference, and linear models. Frequent computer assignments are designed to illuminate important concepts, relieve the students of the burden of heavy computation, and enable them to solve more complex problems. Must be preceded by MA 162. Open only to students with at least a semester of programming experience or its equivalent. Credit cannot be given for more than one of STAT 301, 305, 350, 433, 501, 503, and 511.
