Description: This course will cover several topics relevant to the current and future oral and written communication needs of Ph.D. students. Students will write three papers: a review of a journal article, a review of the literature, and the choice of a thesis proposal, conference paper, or journal article. Additional topics will include research strategies, documentation, research/writing ethics, and academic language. Students also will make an oral presentation based on their written project.
