Description: Descriptive statistics; elementary probability; random variables and their distributions; expectation; normal, binomial, Poisson, and hypergeometric distributions; sampling distributions; estimation and testing of hypotheses; one-way analysis of variance; correlation and regression. Credit should be allowed in no more than one of STAT 301, 305, 433, 501, 503, or 511.
