Description: A study of cell structure and function, basic tissues and their arrangement into organs and organ systems. Lectures, small group laboratories, conferences and discussions with members and staff and practicing physicians. Designed for competency III "Using Science to Guide Diagnosis, Management, Therapeutics, and Prevention", Level 1. Additional competencies that are supported by this course include: IV "Lifelong Learning" and VIII "Problem Solving". For medical students only.
