Short Title: Intro Grammar Writing
Description: Introductory Grammar and Writing focuses on the fundamental aspects of writing in English, the writing process, audience, purpose, critical thinking, and the grammar appropriate to accomplish successful writing, These skills will be honed through reading assignments, class discussions, and paragraph writing. A writing lab is attached to this course. The writing lab provides small group ESL tutoring sessions within the Writing Center. ESL tutors are trained to assist the students' exploration of the writing process, critical thinking, and documentation, while providing constructive feedback.
