Description: Course content includes an introduction to local area network concepts and technology, work group technology and its evaluation, work group applications (e.g., electronic mail and scheduling), and network service bureaus (e.g., Internet). The laboratory provides hands-on experiences with work group features of applications, work-group-specific applications, and Internet applications. Student projects use work group and/or network services technology to build representative business applications.
